adidas firebird anyone here play football on a team
Does playing for one at a former time count?
My dad was a top collegiate quarterback, and did end up in the NFL at one time (until injuries shortened that). Granted, this was back in the 70’s, and medical procedures and rehab were pretty much lacking.
I was on the receiving end. Played Wide Receiver, Slot Receiver, and was a Kick and Punt Returner. Yes,
I was also able to be a Kicker. was pretty good, but chose to do the Receiver position full time. Didn’t go to any major scholarship schools for it. was recruited by Division II’s and III’s. but I really had my heart set on basketball. (A whole ‘nother story).
My kid brother, though, was the real football stud. Gifted Quarterback. with speed, endurance, size,
and smarts. Could throw a mile with mustard as well as a little job with just enough on it. Went to 2 division 1 colleges to play, but. well. politics and corporate think invade college sports too often, and he didn’t get the opportunity to really shine. No, I’m not spoutin’ sour grapes. I could throw pretty good, but haven’t progressed much since then. Basketball is my game now.
Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.

I don’t know much about brands, but addidas is my favorite for cleats. just MAKE SURE to try them on for about 5 minutes before buying. Also,
it will take several hours of playing for them to get broken in. most people get blisters.
