adidas trainers mens Largo daycare owner arrested
Officials said the investigation that led to the arrest began on Oct. 3, when the mother of the victim notice three large red marks on the victim’s left and right thighs. The mother told investigators that she noticed the marks after picking up the victim from daycare at “Itsy Bitsy Kids World.”
When she inquired at the daycare about the marks, the mother was told only that the child “fell.”
According to investigators, the child was in the care of Colleen Williams Days, 59, on the day of the incident.
Medical staff later reported to detectives that the child suffered from two large bruises on his right thigh and three large bruises on his left thigh, and that the marks were consistent with child abuse.
Detectives then interviewed Days on Oct. 27. During that interview, Days admitted to striking the child multiple times with his own shoes because he would not put on his shoes when asked.
