(KRQE) The University of New Mexico first year women’s basketball coach Mike Bradbury has signed a class of five. Bradbury’s first class at UNM is ranked 28th in the country by Blue Star Basketball.

In a statement about his recruiting class, Bradbury said, “This signing class will ignite the future success of our program and get Lobo women’s basketball back to the level our great fans deserve. Each of these players bring strengths that will help build our exciting style of basketball.”

She led the Coyotes to a Class 5A championship last season with 34 points. The 5 foot 8 inches guard averaged nearly 17 points, 3 assists and 2.8 steals. Madison Washington is a point guard out of Red Oak, Texas. She averaged 18 points, five assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals last season.

Washington was also Offensive Player of the Year. The left handed scoring point guard is known for her ability to shot three pointers. Antonia Anderson is a six foot two guard/forward out of Cibolo, Texas.
